TWO SISTERS
These editorial illustrations were inspired by a story of Minah and Linah, the reimagining of an old legend about two sisters who were taken by the sea. The elder sister tried to save the younger sister but both drowned. God was touched by their love for one another and transformed both into two little islands so they could be together forever. The new legend takes place in other continent and other times telling the story of two sisters whose beauty and character inspired a writer to tell their life story.
